Baby seat comparability

Are there any anchor points in the rear of a CE coupe so you can put a baby seat/child seat in? Pictures would be helpful

Cheers

All cars in Australia are meant to have them as a matter of ADR; In the mirage theyre located at the rear of the car on the back wall of the boot/tail, but still within the car (not on the boot itself). I would be the coupe would be in the same position

Coupe is on the rear parcel shelf.

Terrible photo but only one I've got. under a cap in the centre there.

Possibility that there will be a plug in its place with the actual mounting bolt missing or in the spare wheel well.

Usually mounting holes are centre and with another 2 just behind rear seats headrests L & R in parcel shelf area, mounting points are covered by flat push in black plastic that hold down parcel shelf--------------- trouble is without having a good pic it looks like your rear speakers have been mounted where they used to be !!!
Have a look in your boot up under the rear parcel shelf and see if you can see any pressed/spot welded speed nuts, the same thing happened to a friend of mine (not lancer) as they were removed when speakers cut in, if so then an alternative mount-ing spot will need to be found in the rear floor area using a 6mm x 50mm x 50mm square steel plate under boot floor pan for bolt to go up thru, if a suitable reinforced area cant be found.

Sorry for the late reply guys but thanks heaps, this is pretty much the decider that I am going to buy another lancer

Just a heads up as well, I just had my first newborn a few days ago, of course with a newborn the baby seat needs to be in the "reverse" setting, in my Ce coupe my seat just fits and the top of it is kinda wedged between the driver and passenger seats.. Mine is one of the smaller seats on the market too. Can get some photos if you like.

Under these plastic caps there are holes for child restraint anchor to bolt in to, just for future reference
