Volt Meter Clock Swap

As part of my wishlist for my CE Lancer, i wanted to replace my old clock above the A/C Controls with a Voltmeter so i can keep an eye on the Battery Throughput without the need for tools or stopping.
It took me 20 minutes tonight and came along very nicely.

You will have to excuse the bad photo quality along with my poor post layout, im not sure how things work around here but i tried to make the post look good.

Tools/Parts:
5$ eBay Volt Meter
Super Glue
Solder and Soldering Iron
"Renovator" Cutting Tool
Screw Driver
Wire Cutters/Snippers

Start by removing the A/C Panel and Un-Plugged the 2 Plugs

Remove and Dissemble the entire Clock Setup NOT THE BLUE PLASTIC SCREEN! It will break and is basically required for the volt meter to actually look flush and nice with the rest of the clock face.

I had to cut out much of the white plastic from the back panel

Remove Pin 1 and Pin 3 from the 4-Pin Plug in the top left of the white plastic, From left to right {[C] [A] [?] [G]} (Upto you if you want to get rid of them, they get in the way of the solder).

Glue the Buttons onto the black face plate from inside, remove the worthless green rubber clicky thingies

Once you get the Volt Meter in the place you feel it belongs, Glue the Volt Meter into position from all four corners, make it secure.

Solder RED/Positive to the 2nd Pin for Acc. power, Solder the BLACK/Ground to the 4th Pin

Once the wires are soldered plug the "Clock" back in, turn your car to Acc and the Volt Meter should light up with the Throughput of your Battery :D

If all is well click the panels together, screw it back into the AC Panel and replug it all, click it back in place and you're done!

UPDATE:
Looks like there was a problem with the glue overnight, caused fogging on the plastic and the Volt Meter, i've taken it apart and fixed it and taken a few more photos for those who want ot know how i've done the cutting and soldiering.

Mainly its just for watching the voltage going through your cars battery/wiring, it can also warn you if your battery is dying(Seeing as all P-Platers have a huge audio system, battery does tend to run flat sometimes).
