Turboing 4G94

Yo so I have a few questions, one is it worth turboing my car, two how much would it cost roughly and three does anyone know a good place in Perth to do it? Cheers

This is from the CE forums, but as the 4G94 is basically the same as the 4G93 as far as what you need to do to turbo it, have a read of this:

As far as your questions go, 1. Yes, if you do it yourself, 2. It will range anywhere from 4-15k depending on how much you do yourself, where you get your parts from, what the ultimate build of the engine is. 3. No idea sorry

I have no personal experience, however, having read extensively on this topic the general consensus is that you can turbo the G94, but the bottom end is 'weak' and that it "won't handle much boost". This aside, the main reason I've looked away from it, is that the CH's came out with a 2.4L motor, the 4G69 aswell, and this replacing the G94 with one of these is a cheaper and less stressful solution if you're looking for more power and torque. If you really wanted to, there are some people in the US I believe that have even put evo twin cam heads onto the 2.4L aswell in the quest for more power. Hope that helps a bit
