if you want my opinion, i would suggest you talk to sam (12SHW LANCER). the cm5a conversion is the best all round turbo conversion you can do for our lancers.

trying to turbo a non-turbo engine is a headache and a half. unless you have the stamina and the more importantly the wallet for it, i would advise against it. idle control is a huge pain in the backside and cold starts are a nightmare to tune. you're much better off shoe horning a factory turbo engine in there. if you want more power, then look at tweaking it afterwards.

get a cm5a conversion (4g93T dohc) costs WAY less and u wont have to modify much at all + the gearbox is a really common one

cost for engine and loom is $1800, then u need a computer, clutch and gearbox and someone to put the engine in ur car for u
much easier than a 4g63 conversion and way cheaper

 Whilst I don't know much about turbo conversions I've learn't enough to say don't go near the eBay yum-cha crappy kits, instead do as others have said and put in a factory turbo engine that came from a Evo/GSR...

Although if you can find the Mivec V6 engine from a FTO, I'd personally take one of them any day over a turbo! A motor like them will also still absolutely fly when put into a car as light as a CE....

fto engine :p
u can fit a 6a13TT vr4 gallant engine in the ce's i saw one guy on the US forums has done it
then u gte the best of both worlds turbo and high power v6

he hasnt updaed his build in half a year, i wonder why....

also the front cut is from an evo4.5

im pretty sure the ce model evo's have different engine mounts, hence why the 6a13 fit

I wouldn't call the 6a13 a high power v6. The vq35hr from my skyline is a high powered v6.

Honestly, if you're going to turbo a na engine, it's going to be much of a muchness between a 4g93 and a 6a13. Of all people I would know. But with a 4g it's going to be easier to find parts.

I can tell you it's going to be more complicated than bolting these eBay kits on. You're going to need someone to install it, fix the issues coz it's not going to fit perfectly, then add ecu and exhaust, and finally some decent time on a dyno. If you're lucky, it's going to be 5k on top.

The cm5a will be bolt on, factory, proven and easier to engineer.
