CBF videoing right now.

4G93 Turbo. 2.5" Mandrel bent straight pipe. Hi flow cat, and nothing else.

Exhaust test i did a long time ago after not running my car for ages.
Captured on my *poo*ty Nokia N95 camera so yeah, not as good as it actually sounds.
I will put up a better video when i get my new HD camera and information when i get it registered soon. Thanks

Thanks for all the video's I'd love to put a new muffler on my 93' 1.8 Lancer.

Wish I had the money to do it now but I have a few other things to take care of first.

Just one question, will this affect my insurance?

Also anyone know of a good place to go on the Sunshine Coast?

It won't affect your insurance unless you tell the insurance company, and it won't increase by much anyway. If you got into an accident, they won't void your insurance for having a catback exhaust system, as it won't have contributed to the accident (although they won're replace it if it gets damaged unless you list it).

Don't know a place on the sunshine coast, but let me know after you find a place (shouldn't be more than $300) as I'm moving up there shortly.

I still have limited funds right now, as I'm looking for full time work and only fixing stuff that is broken.

I do fear my power steering might be the next on my list and an engine oil leak I haven't been able to trace for years.

But at least I know if/when the muffler goes it's probably better and cheaper to get an after market cat-back system than an original Mitsubishi one.

Oil leak? Probably the rocker cover gasket or* head gasket, very common with cc's. Replace the seals and it should fix 90% of the leak.

I'm going to have it looked at further at it's next service in case the leak is lower and don't want to waste an oil change. There is weeping above the manifold which is most likely coming from the rocker cover but I think the timing chain cover might also be leaking.

But this is a topic for another thread, is there an oil leak thread?
