Suspension Confusion

Hey all, so I recently purchased some KYB shocks and mounts for my 1999 CE Lancer sedan.
Took them to my mechanic to get fitted, but apparently I have the wrong parts?

Front is all good, but the rear mounts are completely wrong according to the mechanic.
I got these: Rear Mounts (KSM5091)
But apparently I only need this: Bump Stop (SB5193)

KYB part picker seems to back them up as well. I originally based my purchase off this post -

From what I can see, you bought top mounts and the mechanic has said that you only need bumpstops and boot kit.

There are different reasons for needing both. Typically in a lancer you will find the rear shock top mount will never wear out, but the bump stops will definitely perish.

Sounds like miscommunication between you and your mechanic? No big deal though, new rubber parts is always a good thing.
