Silly CJ Sx questions

Ok some silly (forgive me I'm getting old ) .
Steering wheel cover no OEM anyone got any clues on a good quality one !!!(yeah something better than a kmart one )
The lancer scuff plates they only make the carbon fibre look ones for the front . why ?
And can the fog lights be fitted to the sx ?
As i said I apologise for the stupid questions

Yes Fog lights can be fitted (dont ask me how lol,) I got a quote to get mine down and it was about $500.00 from my local dealer.
The scuff plates, Im sure there was an alloy/metal one that was in the brochure. I dont think they only have cf look.
And sorry, cant help with the cover, I dont use one.

The metal scuff plates they are dealer specific; some will still have them and others wont. Both were options when the Lancer was first released but as time went on it became a choice. The metal ones are front and rear and I think they were around the $90-$130 mark.

If you cant get them here you can easily pick them up on Ebay
 
Yup foglights can be gotten, but for the price it probably isn't worth it unless you get an eBay job:

I think the SX already has the loom for the driving lights, but maybe you needed to buy a new stalk and have the dealer program the ECU for them to work...whereas that kit just comes with a loom and a switch to put on your dash panel next to the ATSC switch.

There should be metal ones, ask them to order in this part: MZ380402EX - Outer Scuff Plates - Stainless Steel (Font & Rear)

As for steering wheel covers then no idea sorry. Does the SX have the plastic or leather wheel? Maybe just get one of those foilly sort of covers to put on when the car is parked in the sun....

yeah I can get the scuff plates from the dealer $143.
Fog lights maybe give them a miss might be to much $$$
Steering wheel is leather dont want to stuff it up. I'll grab something either from kmart or a car parts place seen one on a VW that was about 30 bucks .Was thinking more of my hands wearing the leather away I've done it before with plastic wheels lol

I seem to be like a kid in a lolly shop lmao Heard theres a chrome petrol cap but havent seen it any where
 
Dunno about chrome, but from memory there is a billet alloy one around...

As for the steering wheel I've done 60,000+kms, usually parked in the sun and 3.5 years old and my leather wheel is spotless still. I'd say the 'leather' is actually a bonded automotive leather that's been treated to be more durable and UV resistant. Tis your call but personally I wont put a cover on until there are signs of wear...want to enjoy all that leathery goodness! You can also get automotive leather care products to use which would help...
