Short Shifter

Hi guys,

Has anyone here had a Short Shifter installed on their CG-CH Lancer? I recently purchased a 2007 CH-ES myself and am noticing the shifter has quite a long throw. I find it noticeable after coming off a subaru wrx.

I'm looking at this one on ebay at the moment:

Let me know if you guys have done this mod yourself, or if you have had a short shifter installed on your lancer and how do you find it working for you.

Does that one work with a 2007 CH ES lancer though? It doesn't specify that it does.

yes it fits all lancers and evos from 1997 to like 2008 with 5spd
 
I found that my CH has a longer throw than my 93 camry did =/ was wondering the same thing, how is the short shift availability for this? also, is there any risk of a short shift putting extra load/wear on the linkages?

ok, so looks like availability is no problem.

Also, looked at the DIY, i like how the stick angles towards the driver, my old camry's stick did the same. this not only reduces the throw but also the height of the knob right?
