So I have been thinking about the similarities between the evo and non evo lancers. If the seats are direct bolt in does that mean that aftermarket seat rails for a CE generation evo aka 4/5/6/6.5 is going to fit ours non evos as well?

They all share the same floor pan, so all same same.

I made a bar to make my EVO5 seats fold down, all I need to do is lift the bar up and the seat folds down

So I’m assuming the seat already has the ability to tilt and slide, you just need to actuate it?? Is that correct tia

Probably not, Coupes are 60/40 split IIRC, where as GTi and Mirage are 50/50 splits so the center bolt holes will be located different.

Why would you put the 6 seats onto ce rails? They bolt into the same floor pan.

Hi guys, cracking forum.

I recently picked up a 01 CE 1.8 coupe, and converting it to a weekend track car. Now I grabbed a pair of saas razor seats of marketplace for cheap. They came with the multi seat rails, but after multiple Tetris goes, no luck.

I see the thread mentions recaro, but would you guys know what rails I can use to fit these saas seats?

if anyone has fitted these and has a write up or photos or any advice, I would really appreciate your assistance guys.

If I remember correctly, it's Evo 4-6 rails... don't quote me on that though

Cheers, will try and google some pics of the rails. Presume these are standalone rails and not like current CE stocks seat, which are fixed to actual seat ?

I believe so, but again don't quote me. I remember this question being asked elsewhere and the answer was Evo rails

Have a look on the SaaS site, they should offer Evo 4-6 rails, worst case give them a call and see what they say

As above, Evo 4-6 rails for your type of seat.
