Removing door trims...

1) open door, all the way
2) Theres a screw in the plastic near the inside hinge of the door, bought halfway up. take it out.
3) take out screw inside the hand pocket on the door. (the thing you grab to close the door)
4) Pull the handle like your opening the door and hold the handle "open". theres a screw behind it, can be a little difficult to get out.
5)Remove the window winder by popping off the little clip between the handle & the door trim

You also have to wiggle the plastic surrounding the door handle out the door. "open" the door handle again, it will slide up and out through it.

Then, just grab the door trim, and pull(feel underneath towards the rear of the door & you will feel a 2cmish hole to grab onto). Its held in by clips. Dont be afraid to give it a solid tug.

the one behind the door handle took me a few minutes to figure out there was one there! :) definitely a sneaky place to put one :problem:

That circlip behind the window winders certainly are a pain in the ass.

Best way ive found to get them off is to put a screwdriver in between were the 2 ends of the circlip meet, then tturn the window winder, should pop right off, sometimes to be never found again

that window winder clip is even more of a pain to get back on again once uve got it off -_-

Its easy, just a pair of long nose pliers & it's in.

im still confused as to where im pulling on the winder, i got a screwdriver in between the door trim and the base of the winder except it wouldnt 'pop off'.. that that where im meant to be doing it?

that clip is behind the winder lever. that has to be popped out before the winder will slide off

^ easiest way to get this off is to use a flat head screwdriver and gently push off one side.

Put a small bend in the end of a coat hangar (shape it into a shallow "J", you will see that it does not to be much of a hook as seen in unclepaulie's pic above). Use this as your tool to remove the clip.

Push on the door card and plastic spacer to expose the window winder clip, slip the coat hangar end between the winder and plastic spacer and then under the clip and pull.

Bingo, clip removed. Just make sure you can find the clip after as sometimes they go wayward. If you lose it, Supercheap and such stores usually have spare ones where the nut / bolt racks are located.

To install, push the clip back onto the window winder, line the winder up with the stud and give a gentle hit to knock it back on.

haha yeah i got it done after a while.. first door took me ages to get off but doing it for the second time on the other door it only took about 10 mins

Done this millions of times, watch out for that little *fudge*er flying. Why I didn't have something there to stop it is beyond me the first few times.
