Civility would be nice, choice would be better. My question still remains unanswered. A straight yes or no will do, that is presuming there is an answer known by either ARC or you!! Or is there a non preferred alternative? If not why not.

I was having a conversation with my grandmother just last week as she is not keen on online payments, but is having trouble paying bills because she refuses to get with the times. Higher probability of having your card skimmed or recorded in the real world than online. Paid mine by direct deposit - online. ( seriously once you start using online transactions it makes life soooooooo much easier ) You can also do this at the bank if it makes you feel any safer.

You were actually the first person to test out the new automated PayPal system for Premium Memberships.

The automated PayPal system is preferred as it greatly reduces the waste time I have had in the past sending out payment info, waiting to see the payment, updating my records and then having to manually check for when the 1 year period is up. The automated PayPal system now does all of that for me and members can instantly pay and get their membership updated.
If you have a relative that has PayPal and will let you use their account, that would be preferable. Otherwise as a last resort you can do a deposit for 24 month or lifetime membership at a CUA branch and I will manually process the account upgrade.
Tried the above, all it gave me were upgrade prices which I cant use any way. Would appreciate direct banking facilities and related procedure for life membership on my Email would be fine. Looked up all forums, could not find anything relating to premium membership, except upgrade prices, give aways, etc: Perhaps its no fault, just me!!!
I didn't want to use my credit cards online either as they had a high limit on them, but i have been an ebay / online shopping junkie as well since 2002.
In 2002 i decided to join Ebay and Paypal, so i went and got another visa card and rang the bank and made them drop the credit limit to $500, then reg that $500 card with Paypal, best decision ever, never had a problem in 14 years, purchases guaranteed, just brilliant.

I sent pergrine a very detailed PM - without reply - about benefits of Paypal and high safety factor . It would appear that despite this he does not wish to do so. Which is his right, however running a website is a very tiring and hopelessly unappreciated task and anything that can make it easier (paypal) for the admin - and easier and safer (paypal) for the end user - should definitely be taken into account and if there is reluctance on behalf of the admin to use direct deposit I can totally understand it.
Another benefit to note that comes with the paid memberships, usually once per year I personally try to have organised a admin-paid-for meet up. Some BBQ snags, drinks, all paid for by myself/admin team. Of course this is free for any Auslancer member to benefit from, but its the paid members that we appreciate the contribution of.
