NOISY Air-co Pump

Hi people, im new here
Hopefully i've posted this in the right place...

My sis inlaws 97 Lancer 1.8L, has a very noisy air-co pump, like the bearing is shot, got another one from a wrecker $150, still noisy (not quite as bad,but still not happy with it)

My question is, how much is a New pump? or is there an easier / cheaper way to fix it?

fitted and new gas. I'd say any a/c go should be able to source them

I had the same proble with mine needed pump replacing I rang wreckers looking for a second hand one sourced one from Goldie that suited the one I was after. Then had them ship it to me.

Gives you a idea half that be labour you'd think.

CE lancers had a problem with there a/c pumps back in the day there is a modified a/c pump available for it. But they are expensive for memory...
