Newbie from Canberra CE Lancer EVO 5 Clone

Recently bought an unfinished project CE Lancer that's been fitted with an aftermarket EVO 5 body kit.
Has fibreglass side skirts, front bar and big rear wing.
Came with spare original EVO bonnet [Bonnet was Sold $1,000] (still in it's box) spare original front and rear bumpers and the small boot wing.
Needs a little paint and panel work.
I hope to get it back on the road soon, but you all know how what soon means!
It's now up for sale. http://www.auslancer.com/index.php?...-canberra-selling-whole-car-negotiable.10828/

Thanks, I'll try to get some pics uploaded.
Just getting my head around pic URLs.
I haven't used photobucket before.
Maybe try some links to my GoogleDRIVE album, if that's possible.
Any recommendations on who to follow?
Neither, upload directly onto the thread, you may need to reduce the size of the image but it'll never disappear that way.

Thanks.
I'm used to Tapatalk, where you can search for pics to upload without generating a URL.
How do you upload directly?
Image size?

under the comment box is an “upload a file” button, click that. once the upload(s) are finished you’ll get links to insert them into the post, either as an image or a thumbnail. if you don’t insert them, they’ll get thumbnailed at the bottom of your comment

i dunno if there’s a pixel size limit, but large uploaded images get scaled to fit the browser so it doesn’t really matter. i believe there’s a file size limit but idk what it is

Ha, finally got a pic to load.
[Edit:- There's a pinned post in General Section]

Thanks for the encouragement from User_Driver and Pelican.
Don't know what the stickers signify, as I haven't a clue what parts are on the car yet. Totally new to Lancer!
Previous owner didn't know either!
I know it runs nice, and sounds good.
I think it has a 1.8 in it and aftermarket exhaust.
Edit:- I think the exhaust may be from Kakimoto,

I'll verify when I get the car up high enough to check. Bonus if it's something special :)

Thank you,
Too bad mine is a clone, not the real thing. IDK how much an original would be, out of my price bracket.
There's a couple of really nice original EVOs that I've seen in Canberra too.
Would you be interested in a clone or want the real thing?
There's a Tommy Makinen with a cage in Canberra too.
Photo is an EVO that I saw in Canberra, which looks perfect, as you can see.

I must admit I’ll decide on real or tribute EVO 5 at the time. I’ve got 3 - 4 years until I can get one. A real EVO is great, but it would be a crime to heavily modify one, whereas a tribute can have a personal flavour without losing the value of the car. Both options are great, I’ll just see how I feel at the time. My son in-law has a real EVO 5, it is damn nice to see on a regular basis for now.

If you've got space and are really committed, start a project with a clean body and interior, running or not.
Unfinished projects can work out, if you can get one cheap enough. They pop up from time to time. Any project can be a money pit, though if you do most if it by yourself, you'll save labour and have fun Warning! Warning!
Collect bits and pieces as you go along. I picked up some spoilers, wings, wheels, strut brace on Gumtree. Got an original EVO V bonnet on eBay too, for the distinctive look. No ENKEI wheels yet, though I've got a couple of alloy sets 15" 16" 17" with fairly good tread locked up.
I'll decide which wheels to fit. when the paintwork is completed on the front spoiler.
