Hey guys. New the forum and to the mitsi owners world. I have a 1999 Mitsi Lancer Glxi wagon (CB5W).

I acquired it by swapping an old ford fairmont i had for it as i needed a new DD.

and yes you can see it has done 427,000kms hahah and going strong!!!

Mods that came with it is the pod filter and superlow springs all round

Welcome to the club, good to see another wagon owner, you should find heaps of info here on just about anything you need, and some stuff you don't need !

thanks guys!!! just wondering how easy and what would i need for a 4wd conversion on my lancer???

Not easy at all. Need a lot of knowledge and welding skills, then get it engineered. Or give your car ad all the parts to a workshop and $3000 later be AWD. Need an AWD gearbox (not cheap, like$1000), tailshaft, rear diff, floor pan, bunch of other things. Also you don't need to be AWD unless you are pushing around 200kW unless you want to do it purely to have AWD and that's it.

my plan is to have this as my next project car after my ba xr6 falcon.. just doing research into what i could do in a few years..

Welcome to auslancer,

Keep your wagon as is for sentimental reasons, buy a clean xr6t manual & a cc or ce gsr. Or just get an evo. Happy days ;)
