Need help!

Hey guys, i got my replacement oxygen sensor in the mail the other day (courtesy of chowetime, thanks again!) it has the clip and everything. Just wondering if to fit it I just simply unplug old one and plug in new one? Is there a trick to it or is there something i need to do? Any help appreciated

Take out old, put in new and plug it in.

LOL yes, your just replacing what is already there. Its just a spark plug looking thing with a dangley wire.

I installed it and the light is still on, do I need to disconnect the battery and to reset the computer so it recognises the new sensor?

U may need an elec to throw a scan tool on it and suss it out. U can Reset it that way

When I get home this arvo I will disconnect the battery for an hour then connect it back up and let it idle for 10 mins. See what that does, if its still on I might have to take it to my mate at Mitsubishi to scan it.
