hey guys just wondering what ur thoughts are on a cheaper.. simple way to lower my car?? ill be getting tax back soon yay! so i wanna get my car done

king springs and a set of spring compressors! gonna do mine after the kit...lows or superlows is the question

i have a set of 4 peddars sports ryder lowering springs i no longer need. $150+postage if you're interested.

warning though, they are fairly low. part of your tyres will be sitting inside the guards. looks cool but reasonably low.

Hey skyryd how low do u think roughly?? I'll have to get my guards rolled aye if I'm sitting on 17s

i got some superlows for the back suspension if you want them, i'll sell them to u for $50 with shocks
they will make ur wheels on 17's just tuck at the back

mor31s got 18s with no guard rolling if i recall correctly....and its pretty bloody low lol

the front didnt need to be rolled when i had superlows

i had 18x7.5 on 215/35/18 tyres without having to roll my guards. in terms of how low - the tyres sat about 1 inch inside the guards.

matter in what sense?

i had them a while and they've sagged to a low height. i haven't seen a set of aftermarket springs that haven't sagged over time. i don't think they'll sag any more than that though. for me, i like it low, but i don't like it that low. others love it so it's personal taste.

at they end of the day, they are just springs. can't see much that could go wrong with them.

won't lie to you though, if you have the cash, you're better off getting a set of coilovers like i ended up with. but if you just want looks, this is a cheap way to go.

nope, no pics.. you can search my build log for old photos. but no pics of the springs themselves. they just look like springs.. in red.

i have stock shocks with king low springs on all 4's/ check out my ride thread to see my ride hight. cost me 200$+ 150$ install. cheap n VERY easy, n effective

would be fair harsh, doesnt cussion anywhere near as much as stock hight
mine feels like it has metal poles instead of shocks and springs at the front, bit unconfortable on bumpy roads but other than that its not too bad
