Hi im just wonder if the Honda Civic Front Lip would fit on my Lancer CE 2DR 1999 1.5 Front LIP?

My Car has Droid 2 rear and side when i brought it but the front is stock.. i want put lip to change the look but it look ugly stock with 2 aftermarket kits and its red a car
Just the front Droid 2 front bumper going to cost $350 + $400 +paint and fit..
 
I bought that exact lip and attempted to fit it to my 1997 Mirage, it seems it will need a bit of modifying to mount properly.

Although I'm interested to see if anyone else has successfully manage to fit it.
 
dantics, wildmr_coupe, and sideways all have the EK civic lip on thier cars (from memory).

ud be wise to ask them via PM.

otherwise im sure drift, resulic, or any other knowledgeable members could point u in the right direction
 
I didn't actually get the lip to fit, sorry I thought I was clear.

I'm considering giving it another go but would like to hear from others who have actually been successful. It doesn't really look like it will physically fit without modification (eg being shortened slightly).
 
i have seen people put both of those lips on ce's, i dont know how much modification it requires
i think one bolts right on easy and the other takes some work but will fit evetually

TBH it wont suit a driod kit in my opinion, dont bother with the civic lip and just finish the droid kit

The first one, same seller and all. It may be just the ones that this guys sells that don't fit.

I'd like to try again with a heat gun and a hoist but I suspect it will still not fit well. I'd still love to be proven wrong and would like to hear from anyone who is actually successfully fitted one.

but if you want a civic lip its called " EK facelift lip"

it has to be the facelift lip because the EK front bar changed.

the facelift lip WILL fit

I would get the front droid kit.. but the problem is $350 and $400 for paint and fit? i kinda dont want spend that much i rather save for engine swap for mitec

Unless there somewhere does it cheaper? i live in Sydney.
 
facelift just means they changed the "bodykit" on the same model car

the EK civic had two different front bar's hence the two different lips

thats why ONLY the facelift EK lip will fit

I tried looks for EK facelift lip on ebay.com and ebay.com.au
there none? know where i can them?
 
best bet is to ask dentiz or wild_mr_coupe they kno all about those lips
