Interior Light Blowing

Awhile ago my interior light stopped working, the bulb had blown.
Finally got around to getting a new bulb, 100% got the correct one, yet it blew after only a few seconds of being on.
Seems light some sort of electrical issues...

Anyone have any ideas?

Try another bulb cause sometimes bulbs are not sealed properly.
Otherwise you may need an exorcism to remove the evil spirits living in your car.

As above have suggested, exorcism, or a little more commonly than evil spirit possession is an exposed wire at the dome light or the door switches. The door switches are the trigger for the roof light, so it can be a fried wire at the door.
