Hey all, just signed up, have been lurking here for a while now
'97 CE Lancer (GLi) owner for a little over a year.

Love her to bits (peels, scratches etc. and all) they are amazing cars. I've looked after her to the best of my ability while I've had it.
I have a hankering for mods now and this forum is awesome for information.
Don't have much mechanical experience but I'm trying to do as much as I can myself, learning along the way. Inbetween jobs so money is tight.
I kinda like subtle asthetics and I'm trying to keep the douche factor as low as possible, have painted the stock wheels myself, got a catback exhaughst done, currently working on a CAI. Have some new ignition leads and a pure white dash light kit on order. Plan on swapping out the 1.5l one day and restoring the paintwork when dollars permit.

Any meets/cruises Geelong way?

Not a lot down Geelong way but crumble often makes the commute. We're doing a Macedon hills run in the night of the 22nd if you want to join in. Should be some awesome fun and an awesome view up top.
