havining a drama with my head light warning buzzer, when i turn car off and open door it has a 30-40 sec delay. any one had this problem or now what it could be, any help would be great as it keeps runnin my battery flat

Is the buzzer factory fitted in a CE or is this a aftermarket thing?? (sorry I have no idea on CE Lancers, all I know is my CJ buzzes if its not in auto light mode and switches itself off when I open the door)

yeah its a stock what ever it is, cant be a fuse cause it wouldnt work at all if it was that.
might try and pull out the senser for the door and see if it helps but the lights on the inside wouldnt turn on if it was that. aah i dont know

maybe theres something loose? like a wire comming outta a socket or sumthing, which is casuing a delay? i dont know man :(
might have to go get it checked by an auto electrician sumtime this week maybe:(?

not to fussed as its been like this for a while,

some times it works like normal but other times it has the delay

Can you find any info on it in the workshop manual??

I'm thinking something like that would be integrated in the body control module/ECU (or did they call them an ETACS back then) and as of such there may not be much you can do.

Buy a CJ VRX, it automatically turns them on when it gets dark and turns them off when you stop the car automatically too :p
