OK here goes,
My plans so far for my CC Coupe.
Yes I have been reading all the posts regarding engine upgrades and to tell you the truth, while I have gleaned what I can from them I have been left a little confused.
So I am posting this in the hope that all of you that have been down this road can advise me directly on this engine upgrade.

* swap SOHC for a GSR DOHC I assume i'll need a different loom???
* Upgrade the Cams
* Upgrade to blue WRX injectors
* Install intercooled T28 Turbo
* Upgrade Clutch would prefer new, any suggestions???
* upgrade brakes
* Go up to 2.75 exhaust with hi flo cat

Does this sound like it is in the realms of possibility or am I humping the wrong leg?
Also am I missing any major upgrade items required to pull this off? fly wheels water pumps, fuel pumps ETC or will my stock ones do?

Nope completely wrong and costly

* You will need engine, loom and ecu
* Upgrade the Cams
* Dont worry about this until you wanna go BIG power
* Upgrade to blue WRX injectors
* IF YOU USE ANY INECTOR OTHER THAN THE STOCK ONES, YOU WILL NEED AN AFTERMARKET ECU
or.... you can use EVO1/2/3 gear such as the ECU, 510cc inj and AFM
* Install intercooled T28 Turbo
* EVO 1/2/3 TD05H 16G is perfect for the 1.8ltr, if you want bigger then get a 20G
* Upgrade Clutch would prefer new, any suggestions???
* Exedy heavy duty clutch is fine
* upgrade brakes
* Proton M21/GTi front calipers and rotors, Proton M21/GTi rear arms, hubs, calipers, handbrake cables, Proton M21/GTi brake booster and master
* Go up to 2.75 exhaust with hi flo cat
* A 2.5" will also be fine if you didnt want to go too big

* Have a DOHC head, GSR loom and ecu (was thinking a different ecu)
* Upgrade the Cams
* Dont worry about this until you wanna go BIG power
*the cams need a clean and regrind. I have someone who will regrind them out to close to stage one

* this is why I thought an AM ECU. found it really hard to find any early evo stuff

Thanks for the heads up and advice, Most of the stuff I have got has been a pretty good price because I buy it as a bundle. Do you think it is do-able from here or should I seriously rethink? I would have loved to go evo gear but like I said,hard to find.
