Fitting 4pot Brembo Calipers on a CH Lancer (it works)

so heres how much clearance the commodore brembos have to the evo 7 17” wheels, i don’t think you could fit 16” wheels with these brakes on at all lol

I’ve taken the car for a test drive to bed in the pads and i’ve gotta say.. its like these brakes were almost meant for this car, pedal pressure feels similar to the stock single pot brakes. Obviously though these do bite harder and with just enough pressure at higher speeds it does make the front wheels lock up so abs is a good thing to have here

Such a clean looking CH, unlike the clapped out ones I see near me
For a long while a big goal of mine is to make a very clean oem+ Lancer, just enough external mods to make it look nice, good wheels, and i’m still experimenting how much N/A power i can squeeze out of the 4g69

I really want to change people’s opinion on the 2.4L CH i reckon its one of the best as far as base model lancers go, i know for a fact my car is faster than any N/A CJ lancer in Perth so thats a plus. I pretty much want to prove that this model lancer has similar potential as k24 accords and such

I love your goals of the car, sadly. It's hard to change people opinions. My E85 4g93T would be quicker than commodores and some wrxs. Regardless I still had the *poo* car lol. Because it's a lancer, enjoy it man, I love the OEM+ look. 2.4l is also really nice. Sadly it's not as supported as the K24. Although the 2.4l can make some decent power. K24 was super common, and because super supported in the states

Yeah i may not convince people its a good car, but regardless i want to make it my own. I’d love to come up with a turbo kit for it one day but for now i’m focusing on handling, looks and some nice interior options, i installed some VRX goodies like the double-compartment centre console, and looking for some evo 7-8 recaros to chuck in as well

I was properly surprised when you took me for a spin in yours ages ago, weighs exactly the same but pulls so much harder than my 2L

The 200nm at the wheels definitely makes it feel fast i will say.

Currently looking at getting a better cam and lighter flywheel to get some more power to the wheels, my goal at the moment is to get 200hp of Natural aspiration to the ground

the dyno showed me the potential it already has while N/A, mainly the AFR being a bit too rich past 4000rpm
