Double Din Stereo

Hey all, been searching online and cant seem to find after market fascia kits for a double din head unit.

I've seen some models that have had the air-con controls where the pocket is and a double din setup but not sure where to find these.

any info would be excellent

From what i've seen, you either make your own, or don't get one... There is enough room for a double din, but since unlike the CE's the CH's controls are underneath the din not above, and the pocket is completely divorced from the faceplate, it makes it hard to fit a double din, since you have to then relocated all of the ac knobs to the pocket etc. IMO get a single din with a screen that comes out, will still make the ac controls accessible, and it's still a big screen.

Look for a standard evo 7/8/9 fascia/bracket setup. They came standard with the double din and the ac controls relocated to where the pocket is. Haven't seen anyone do it but I'm sure that setup would be pretty straight forward seeing as the rest of the dash layout is the same.

VRX's come with climate control so the controls are down the bottom and have a double din headunit standard, if that helps

Thats cool! Gonna have to go see if a VRX faceplate fits mine, double din ftw
