the white dials i bought from a guy off ebay, but i got over the white dial thing pretty quick

those pics were actually shot in reverse, at the time i was swapping back to black dials, but put it in the tutorial as if i was swapping to white dials :p
hence the bleached light look on the green paper :p

i didnt even notice the last photo had the black ones in lol, im going to keep them black i think :) looks alot better.

but during the day? you have a white face with clear needles? isnt it hard to see?
do you mean see the color in the dash during the day? cause if so, then no i cant see it during the day time cause the sun is all up in ma grillz and its too bright, i couldnt see my stock dash with the lights on during the day.
but at night time, it was no problems

during the day with no lights on, you have a white face with clean needles, doesnt it make it hard to see the needles?

no, because the needles i had were not clear, they had a white backing and could be seen pretty damn easy, even on white dials

wow, this is so bloody annoying, I can't get the bloody clear thing on the speedo housing off without breaking the middle top clip!!!! ffssss!!!

hahahah tell me about it!!! I was full on raging man one cluster it came off perfectly easy and on the other that middle clip just wouldn't come out!!! But I got it in the end with a bit of light grinding

haha i was just like 'f this' and smashed it because it broke on the two speedo clusters. Now I'm clear housing free. I wonder how they actually got the thing in there in the first place, because it's definitely much larger than the hole it was put in...

And how can I make the petrol gauge work? Do I have to place it above the approx. area that the fuel is at so that when it starts to go back a little it meets the notches where it actually is? That's the hardest one to actually get to work...

the only way i managed to get it 'close' was to fill up the tank and reset the needle to 'Full'

if you disconnect the fuel sender from the tank (under the back seat) it will tell the speedo that you has no fuel, so that just an alternate :p
i think with a combination of those 2, you can get it pretty close, but i dont trust my fuel gauge anymore since i went around a round about with a quart of a tank and stalled due to no fuel :p

the hardest one is the temp gauge coz the pin moves when you take off the needle, mine now sits just above half instead of just under, oh well. with my fuel i just put the needle back on and set it to the same position it was before, cant you do that?. I reckon I made it more accurate coz the petrol light comes on now when it's just above empty instead of at or under empty. I can guess exactly how many litres I have left now.
