Notes : This is a manual swap, for automatic you will have another two small hoses from your transmission on the bottom of the radiator. The reason you need sedan radiator mounts is that the right side tilts in the wrong direction and the left side is a tight fit.

Disclaimer : Ensure the car is cold, as any pressure in the system can cause serious burns and injury. Ethylene Glycol(the *poo* in your coolant) is also very harmful to the human body. I take no responsibility for any venture into automotive with reference to this guide.

Step 1

Remove your radiator cap to allow the coolant to drain quicker. Open your bonnet and jack your car up. Slide the drain pan under your drain tap, open the drain tap and wait for the majority of coolant to exfiltrate.

Step 2

Slide the drain pan under the bottom radiator hose and remove the clip. Squeeze both sides together and slide the clamp up the pipe and away from the radiator inlet. Pull the pipe off the radiator and wear safety glasses as a precaution, as the coolant will splash out.

Step 3

Remove the top pipe, the overflow bottle hose, disconnect your thermo fans and the top mounts, using a 12mm socket and ratchet.

Step 4

The radiator will lift out. Place it face down and remove the thermo fans using a 10mm socket and ratchet and bolt them onto your new radiator. The radiator i have utilized the top holes only and this seemed sufficient for me.

Step 5

Slide your new radiator in and reverse the removal steps for installation. Note i am not using the right mount as i will be fabricating new mounts from scratch. Mix your coolant and pour it into the radiator until it is full, then start the car with the radiator cap off and fill it up as it lowers. once you are happy with the level put the cap and enjoy your shiny radiator.
