ive had too repeat myself god knows how many times so here it is

me and devi8 AKA dale put the full MR interior into a GLI and it wasnt exactly fun...

you will need:

full MR interior - all trims, doors ( so you can have the power windows + mirrors ) and the interior loom

1. pull everything out. every panel you want out, including dash ( its easy, just do every screw and bolt you find ) and take out the seats + doors + carpet

2. you will find that there is allot of wiring, and ofcourse. undo every plug ( remember where the plugs go)

also the ignition, you will need a gregory's manual for this, you will also be taking off the indicator/window wipers switches off the steering colum

you will be needing to do so since the MR loom has the extra wires for the doors electronics

it should look like this ( loom being hold by devi8  )

3. do the same too the MR, if you have it seperate then skip

4. plug in every plug from the MR loom into your gli. pretty much do the oppisite too what you did taking it out

5. put on your MR doors and just plug them into the loom.

6. put all your interior back in. test if everything works

for some help here's some pictures

devi8 and myself are not responsible for what you do too your own vehicle. do so with caution because this is not a walk in the park

good job there mate. was it worth it in the end?

of all the different aspects of modding.. i hate wiring the most.

well devi8 is rather happy with what he now has  so yeh it was worth it in the end

gotta agree with you there, its the messiest most tedious aspect. especially with things like central locking and alarms lol
