This is my first DIY so ill try my best, Im hoping someone may find this helpful
Im using these from ebay
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321565442034?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Tools needed:
10mm spanner
4mm Allen key
Marking pen or pencil
Painters tape
Measuring tape
Drill & drill bit ( i used a 6mm bit irc but get a drill bit slightly bigger than the bolts so they slide through)
(Optional) Touch up paint for the fender after you've drilled a hole (to stop rust)

I found it easier to jack up the car and take the wheels off to access behind the fender and front bar but you can do it by simply turning the wheels the opposite way.

1. Get your tape and mask your fender

There is a lip on the back of the fender you have to watch for as the washers for the bolts are quite large.
Put your fastener on the fender and mark where you want to drill, once your happy with the placement get your drill and go very slowly with low pressure as you dont want to dent your panel or have the drill bit slip and cause any nasty scratches.

Once your hole is drilled pull the tape off and carefully brush some paint in the hole, i didnt but i plan to soon.

Bolt your fastener to your fender and mask off your bumper.

Heres what the washer and nut looks like, notice the lip

Now what you want to do is place the rubber ring on the fastener, get a second fastener and put the rubber ring on and pull it downward so there's some tension on the rubber and also until its at a nice angle and how you like it.
(sorry for the ugly finger, there was a lot of tension :p)

Once your happy grab your marker and mark the second hole, the drill will go through like butter so don't push hard at all!
Install your second fastener the same as the top and then put the rubber ring and watch the panty's drop...

Just kidding

You can put the ring on straight or twisted like this :

Now for the other side.

You want to measure from your bar to the center line of each fastener
Then from the gap inbetween the front bar and fender again to the center line of the fastener.

Something like this:

Its a pain in the a** but once you get some rough measurements its quite easy to get the other side pretty much the same, Also take a photo to get a better idea when doing the other side

Hope this helps some people :)

Glad to see it's as straight forward as I hoped. Will be doing this very soon. Have you trimmed the bumper tabs off in the wheel arch?

Yeah it is pretty straight forward, it can be a hassle trying to get the other side the same
And no I haven't actually, I haven't had a reason to yet, although my wheel did chew through the front portions of the fender liner
I knew I should have got 195/45 instead of 195/50
Anyway I'm glad if this is any help :)
