DIY ce lancer blue dash lights

lol autobarn globes are sh* t and well and truly overpriced

look for some "smd t5's" on ebay, its what im running and they have no dull spots on mine

Res not all Autobarn lights are *poo*. My mate has a set from eBay and I have a set from Autobarn. And mine are amazing and his are well barely show his number plate.

i could buy 20+ globes from ebay that will be =/> autobarn globes for the price of 2 autobarn globes

if you know what ur looking for ebay is the way to go

and thats whats difficult to sypher through all the crap on ebay. i know what my issue is and im gonna sort it out. but the clock is clearly all bleh i dont know how to fix that one

Got my bulbs from Autobarn COST SO MUCH! rip off. ended up getting a bunch of ebay, ended up working just as good if not better

i bought these exact ones, from this seller, and used this white one for my clock. hasnt blown yet and its been there for months. very bright and fits perfect blah blah.. get this
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-Car-White ... 575wt_1304
dont use blue for the clock, cuz you cant see it at all cuz the clock is sorta blue anyway. use white and it still looks blue.
these are the type that spread the light fairly evenly too, well for me they do.

for all that it cost me 25 bucks. i was a little shocked i was expecting way more from previous comments. but im just glad at how painless this was to do and it makes such a big difference.

So i used 4 x T10 bulbs and 6 x T5 bulbs.

So are they all the same?

I found these on ebay:

T5's

T10's

those are fairly dull bulbs look for some SMD ones, those wont cut the mustard if ur looking for a half decent finished product

why not have a search thru ebay yourself? there is more than enough info in this thread to tell you what you need to do it

my link above on this page are the best type of t5's imo.
and for a comparison, this is white and the old stock yellowy colour in the same pic. personally no matter what colour scheme you have, white for the speedo is best. looks much brighter and awesomerer than it does in the pic.

i have tried those ones, they are average, i would recomend the SMD ones, i found they were a much brighter crisper light and blended well with 2watt T10's
props for going white, its much more practical than coloured and still looks heaps more baddass than stock

yea white is defs much, much better. i use those t5's because they distribute the light quite evenly. dont know about the smd t5 ones but it looks as tho they only shoot light forward and not out much. i use the smd t10's that have 5 smd's on each light. they are VERY bright. i dont think a single normal bulb exist in my car anymore. everything is now LED lol

the T5 smd's have a 180* span which is perfect for cluster applications ;)
so next time you know what to buy
