CH lancer possible engine swaps

Hey everyone, i’ve been doing some research on lancer engine swaps and i’ve seen alot of 4 cylinder options but i’m wondering if its at all possible to engine swap a Mitsubishi v6 in the CH chassis at all?

I was thinking either 6g75 or 6a12, keeping it naturally aspirated and upgrading it for a bit more power. Now as far as i’m aware no one in Australia has attempted a CH V6 swap.

I know the chassis will be a tight fit for a v6 but i’m curious to know if anyone has attempted it. The reason i say a v6 swap is because with a good exhaust i really like the sound.

6a12: wouldn’t bother tbh but it’s doable

6g74/6G75 will fit. Been done many a time in PR

Info and Translations are sketchy but;
3.0L eclipse driverside mount
Modified Evo 8 front and rear mounts
Stock ch 5spd manual gearbox mount

Vid is PR car with 6G75mivec (which is the same architecture as our 6g75’s)

Basically you can almost copy Paulies CE build with minor modifications.

6g comes with a chunk of torque that you’ll never get from a 4 banga.

With that in mind, this swap would cost you as much as a slapped together built 2.4. Turbo. So keep that in mind

Thinking of possibly doing a built 6g74 swap as they seem to be more reliable than the 75’s, is there a thread link of information doing a swap like this in the CH?

whats your source on reliability issues?

if youre building it...doesn't that negate the reliability issues?
