Ch lancer brake upgrade

Gday All,

Has anyone done a '04 CH lancer brake upgrade?

Im seeking out info for direct bolt on upgrade

If anyone has any info I'd defs keen to give it a go otherwise ill just be dropping some slotted or cross drilled rotors on to help with ventilation

Just get slotted discs with good pads and maybe upgraded lines? Should be a decent upgrade.

That's what I was thinking slotteds and I already have great 4x4 pads, and my mate told me that if I get braideds it gets rid of pedal fade is this correct?

Yeah getting braided lines increases the flow of brake fluid and yeah im pretty sure it stops fade

If you have the 256mm brakes, really any upgrade for a ce over 256mm is an upgrade.... So magna twins, and fto twins, etc.

also if you have 256mm, the late model chs with rear disks have 272 fronts.

It doesnt increase flow, or stop brake fade.

Braided lines just reduce the small expansion that occurs in typical rubber lines under high pressure. It firms up the pedal feel.
