First time playing with lancers and just after a bit of help. Building a dirt cheap track car for 24 hours of lemons racing (if you don’t know it look it up! Great fun).
Anyway have an ‘02 CE 1.8 and wondering who in Vic if possible can help me delete the immobiliser and what cost. Want to delete as much wiring and mess as possible and just have simple single switch push button start.
Obviously going aftermarket is not an option as total cost of car has to remain under $1000.
At this stage keeping original loom complete as a back up and sourcing a second car to have a hack at a loom and delete all the extras I won’t need, and about 20kgs of wiring.
Have already got proton rear sway bar and front hubs, ready to go in and halfway through a diy rear strut brace. Any advice on parts that will break first, setting one up for the track or common mistakes to avoid would be very appreciated.
