Ce shifter box in cc

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone has put a ce shifter box in a cc lancer?

Seems like it would just bolt in but I'm not too sure if the handbrake being on the other side would cause any issues?

Cc shifter base is stepped, ce shifter base is flat. The cable interfaces are also different. I believe it's semi commonly done from cc to ce but not the other way. Can't tell you what you'd need specifically to make it happen.
