Hi all ! New to lancers :)

Chasing a spare tyre and only one of come across so far is a 1999 ce 13 for a 1.5. Only thing is mines a 2002 ce 1.5 . Will it fit ?

Cheers.

You can tell what will fit just by looking at the numbers on the tyre. Let's say we have a tyre size of 175/70R13:

The 1st number refers to width, just straight from sidewall to sidewall. In this case it's 175mm
The 2nd number refers to the sidewall profile, otherwise called an aspect ratio. This can be a bit tricky to understand but basically this number depends on the width. In our example the 70 means the sidewall is 70% of the width of the tyre. The important thing to remember is this number is not universal for all tyres, it always depends on the width.
The 3rd and last number is just the diameter, so the 13 tells us it will fit a 13 inch wheel. The "R" just tells us it's a radial tyre, which is referring to the construction type.

For wheels, the only thing you need to think about is the bolt pattern. CE Lancers and Mirages have a 4x100 pattern, which just means 4 bolts with a 100mm diameter. Any size wheel will fit as long as it shares that same pattern.

In summary, the width and diameter are the two factors that determine if a new tyre will fit a wheel.

Hope this helped.
