CC wagon guage change

well it looks like i might be getting my hands on a cc lancer wagon as a second car.
just wanting to know if i switch the guages for one with a tacho will i have to mod any wires?

the person who would know (as i think he's done it) would be Tron!
but from what iv heard, its fairly strait forward

well i did the guage change today in the wagon and it worked straight away.
it was that easy no mods what so ever.

what car do you get the guages out of? is it just any cc with a tacho?

1992-1996 cc glxi, or sei

How come your worked but mine didn't?

the wagon is a 93 cc gli and the guage came out of a glxi from what i am told.
car idles are around 700 and seems to be working with no issue.
