CC Coupe Auto some times going backwards?

Hi my daughters CC Coupe auto 165km accouring to here ( 17 just got her ps) some times when she starts it & puts it into drive will go backwards? I never seen it do it. She saids that she then stops the motor & stars it & all good?
Any ideas thanks
 
So it drives in reverse when put in forward. I would be checking the shift cable for wear. at both ends you will.find a cable connection. Check these for movement and also at the mounting bracket on the gear box andnear the lever.It will be one of these spots causing it more than likely
 
My friends old cc did this except it was in neutral. I think it ended up being the connection. He would put the handbrake on and the front wheels would drag the rest of the car across the lawn. It was highly amusing!
 
Found the problem 17 year old daughter happens on a slope ie put into drive but take hand brake off too soon result = car going backwards LOL
