Car doesn’t start

Hi there, I’ve got a 2007 ch lancer vrx with the 4G69

Just wondering why it’s not starting and not showing any movement on the tach, I’ve been told it could be crank position sensor and even could be a snapped timing belt.

It doesn’t seem to get spark either as I believe the rocker cover gasket needs replacing and oil seaped into spark plug wells and ruined the coils. I have got new plugs and coils but I don’t want to put them in yet until I get a rocker cover gasket.

Just wondering if anybody could tell me what could be wrong with it

Remove a coil and with a screw driver to something metal check for spark.
To check the timing belt look down the oil cap to see if the camshaft spins when cranking.
To check the crank sensor a scan tool is required or just replace and see.
If it has spark spray some carby clean into the inlet for fuel, if it kicks you may have a fuel fault.

Did some more digging timing belt doesn’t move at all so I pulled the rocker cover off to see if valve springs had and heat marks that would Indicate a bent or struck valve. However there is no heat marks etc the valves valve springs and just the entire engine is very well clean and isn’t sludgy or dark. This makes me believe it might be the harmonic balancer? I was reading somewhere that if a harmonic balancer is the cause it will cause the crank sensor to not get a signal hence why my tach doesn’t move.

Does the timing belt look correct?
The timing belt can loose a few teeth at the crankshaft pulley and won't drive the camshaft.
