AusLancer Shirts!

I don't like it

Most of us dont own a cj. I would rather just writing or logo lol

Either way I'm gonna get my plate printed on the back lol

I like the black shirt on previous page with the angle writing, it looks hip and not like some plain home job

Id pay extra for that. + res's design is something id actually wear in public. All the rest are just ones id have when im working on things (not that i do much anyway) Should make it with a ce front, and the option of having ausmirage and auslancer lettering in the regular style circling the car.

can easy swap out the font, no dramas with that, i just dont have the auslancer font anymore (old HDD died)

i agree with you skip, just a plain flat "Auslancer.com" across the shoulder blades on the back of the shirt would work well

I like Res' design and the simple small front left, large back design too. Whichever gets chosen I'm definately buying multiple :p

Big auslancer on front and lil ones on the arm sleeves

Or this with auslancer on sleeves, maybe make a bit smaller

Ok, lets just chill with the design, we already have a trial coming, and we'll see when it gets here...

At the end of the day, we need to go for something cost effective, simple enough and not to out there or too boring.

Chill... just take a breather haha.

Thanks Mikey! Id like to see if it looked any better done properly on a real tee like Res's. That template I used makes any design look aids. :|

Just needs to be smaller I recken. If I was at home I could try a few

Ultimately the Evo X is the 'hero' Lancer so I would stay with that (plus i think its got a much nicer/aggressive look that seems to suit the screen printing process well), otherwise a CE one wont appeal to anone here that doesnt have a CE. But the problem for Mirage people is that we probably won't get the volumes to run a separate lot. THat style due to being screen printing tends to be suited to higher volumes and not just a once off couple of shirt sort of thing. At this point I am not sure we could get the required volumes to be cost effective.

The one I am ordering is just a colour print on the front of the shirt and it would allow for some level of customization. But I am dubious as to what the quality would be like.

Anyway instead of just critiquing ideas, why not help with finding suppliers and pricing?? ;)

My brothers neighbour does decals, embroidery etc lol

I'll see what I can do

I'd love a copy of Res' design, so I could embroider a smaller version on a shirt front...

a high-end plastic cut print would look awesome though..

The car on res's design is a CJ, to be an evo X it needs that piece over the grill blacked out asap! :p That will make it look proper aggressive

I like that design, I don't think the font matters, it doesn't HAVE to be the proper font. And screw the mirage army this is auslancer not ausmirage!!

res's design is awesome. you could maybe put a small auslancer logo in the middle at the top of the back of the shirt?

depending on how many we want. i have contacts with an embroidery company here on the coast. come up with a logo and i can get the embroidery design stick it in my mothers embroidery machine and knock out a few. of course with embroidery the logo size would be about a maximum of a chest piece she can also do screen printing but it's so much effort to set up the screens.

but an embroided shirt would look really professional

Res sir, that is a champion design. I was a bit against this shirt idea because all the designs looked pretty cheezy to me but that is awesome.

Printing is not overly expensive, and I personally think it will look much better for this sort of design than emboridery. This was the quote I got back on some shirts to be printed last year to give an idea on price.

$66.00 for set up
$10.00 for delivery

Shirts each printed $16.50 inc GST

If we judge this on 20 shirts, total would come to 406, so just over 20 each. Unfortunately I've looked this company up again and cannot find them so guessing they've gone bust. But even if you add a bit more on for a more expensive company, I don't see it as being more than 25-30 per shirt for this sort of numbers (If this many people are going to commit to buying them).

If people are happy I can request a few quotes on the design?

Cost wise, I don't think there's enough numbers to get AusMirage shirts made on top of the AusLancer ones when it costs $66+ to setup a new design.

Doen't seem to bad but we need volume and it depends what people want to pay for them and you Mirage folks won't get one. Also I won't be stocking any of these to make up any required volumes and my experience with past merch has been people say they want stuff but then never come thru with the $$$. So for this to happen we would need 100% payment upfront...

Pricing works out to be as follows once delivery to members is included:
5 = $44.70ea
10 = $37.10ea
15 = $34.57ea
20 = $33.30ea

Alternatively I have found a Direct to Garment printer (DTG) who can do them for what would work out to be ~$35 delivered, no min volume and can do multiple designs. Downside is they claim that after around 30 washes you can expect some fading to occur.

Yes get some quotes if you don't mind Ian that would be handy!
