AusLancer in 2012

So thought I better make a post or something, on top of Anthony's, show that us Admins have a soul ;)

I just wanted to talk about how far we've come as a club this year. (And the year before that aswell)

When I joined over 2 years ago now, AusLancer was small in comparison, but a place of awesome community and have a group of friendly regulars (some of which are still around today). Fast forward to today, here I am sitting in this seat as Admin, helping run and organise the forum that a lot of us call "Home" in the sense of car forums.

Especially in the last year, we have had the joining of a lot of new members, active or not, and we've also had a few regulars move on. Not to mention our Founder Ryan assuming a roll of Merch and Webmaster. And we've seen an increase of Premium Memberships as well, which is excellent to see people willing to contribute and help run the forum.

I guess what I'm trying to say, that I feel this year, and the coming year is where we are starting to really become a cemented forum, we've been around just over 3 years now, and we've come a long way from that.

In 2012, as I said above, we've had a lot more members, a page full or new posts everyday, new builds of all sorts come up. We also had the First Annual AusLancer Awards, in which I feel went really well, with a TONNE of votes cast, and some very deserving members being awarded the Titles. And we have official started the Website AusMirage, a sister club to AusLancer, to help bring in another part of the Mitsubishi community that share's a lot of traits with us. I feel the mirages have added a lot of new members, and are a valuable part of our community now.

I just want to say as well, Thank You, to all of Our Members, for without you we wouldn't have this forum we call AusLancer. Thank you to all the Premiums, The Mirage Owners, Ryan (Dave and Steve) for founding AusLancer, and Especially thank you to you lancer owners out there.

In the end, it doesn't matter if you're a Ricer, a Modder, own a Turbo. You still own a lancer, and you're still one of us.

Happy Holidays, Keep it safe (Slow Down, Enjoy the Ride), and here's to a successful 2013 at AusLancer.

From All of the Admin and Moderators,

Thank You!

Im gonna toss in a bit to this...

I was introduced to AusLancer a while back when a member asked to repost a write up. Since then, I have always been lurking here and I am not sure why I didnt join sooner lol. All in all, I really enjoyed seeing this board come to life and it is really awesome to see so many people mod their Lancers/Mirages in so many different ways and to see everyone pitch in, help, provide feedback, and all that good stuff is just amazing.

I cant wait to see more and show more over here! Here's to all of you (holding beer in the air)
