I have a Mitsubishi mirage already I've put a 4g93 lancer engine in it and I want a cm5a 4g93t but is it a straight forward swap like the 4g93 or is there more involved that I should be aware of thanx guys

I just wanna know how hard is it compared to the simple 4g93 n/a and can I still use my gearbox off my 4g15 and I have a spare 4g93 gearbox

You will have a problem with the NA gearbox as the clutch slave gets in the way of the turbo intake. Either get a custom exhaust manifold which shifts the turbo, or rig up a little relocation like on Joshys Box.

Other than that the engine fits in as per normal iirc

ill get some pics of it,the engine fits in fine exactly like a 4g93, if you dont have the wiring harnesses and want to run the stock computer, and not run climate control , your gona have a bad time.

its easily doable , i did it in a week with my mate after work each night, but we have auto electrical exp.

the NA 93 would be a tons easier swap, because no hassle of piping and intercooler and climate control etc, but the cm5a wasnt hard.

theconversion morels doing (john) will be harder.

will be an easy job with fwd box
if you want to use the awd box with transfer you dont have to do custom slave bracket but you lock up the centre different which brings up the cost and time.
standard 93 box can easily handle the power of a cm5a engine thats pushing the safe limit in terms of power/torque anyway.

there is a complete front cut on ebay for cheap missing turbo and a few things.
but good luck finding a replacement turbo.
and unless you have 1k to spare better to use the fwd box its been done plenty of times.
ive seen cm5a turbo setup done ce 6 times that i can recall over the span of my time in this mirage lancer scene.

if you are on a budget it can blow up depending on which build route you go.

Big revival.
Has anyone got pictures of the relocation
Trying to get some ideas for mine as I’m running into this issue too

Best ive got, but they're super old pics from @ARC

Those are the pics I sent Jimmy a while back and nothing has changed since.

I don’t have anything more recent than those photos.

It’s a bit of an abortion of a set up.
I’ve been wanting to get a Hens replacement one, it’s been on my to do list for a few years. Probably would have done it along time ago if times were different.
