angel eyes

it worth spending the $400-ish dollars on them, i couldnt find them for ages and gave up looking for them on sale and just did a DIY job got the cylinders and lenses etc and opened up the headlight casing and fitting them customly... looks sweet as and unique to other lancers with projectors but i wouldnt recomend it to anyone else, i think i got lucky that nothing went wrong ^^
 
the price the angel eyes sounds about right.when i was at x racing last he told me the supplier increased the price on him.including shipping to your door that isnt bad.the ebay ones are a different style to x racing and *poo* quality.then there is all the risks of buying off ebay.
i bought mine from x racing last year for $420 (pick up) and i have spent $2500 on bodykits,shaved boots,custom bonnet etc.$580 seems good to me considering ;)
 
yeh but i can buy replacement headlights liek i need to, and jsut put in the angel rings into them n then wire em up. n cost... like 150$ instead of almost 600$ haha. and itll look nice too so meh
 
better quality appearance if you buy them, but cheapper to make them, its up to you
 
yehhh idk. just looked at how to remove my headlights... such a pain in the backside! n to try and FIT the angel ring LED's into the actual light, would be HARD!

im thinking of going for a different option... white LED strip, under the head light.
 
like audi? heaps of ppl say they want to do it but im yet to see any, would be good of you to do a DIY if you go ahead with it
 
im actually pretty seriuos about it :)

iv looked on ebay at prices of 25cm LED waterproof strips, and gotten an australian price range. and am going to visit autobarn n repco on saturday arvo, to see if they have any or can order any in faster/cheaper.

then ill hav to work out a way to install em... that'll be the "fun" part!
 
if ur headlight is scratched u can buy a kit from autobarn for $40 that brings it up looking brand new.. my headlights were yellow when i got the car and now they are crystal clear. i was amazed at the difference for $40 :D. does anyone know of any angel eyes for a 4 door CE? its annoying how the shape is different..
 
My brother has some angel eyes he cant use anymore for a 4 door CE but I can't remember which one as there are that different shape in 2 tiny differences. We're in Perth though.
