How easy is it to wire up the light ring that goes around the ignition key?
I got one from the M21.
And as you can see it physically fits but I have no idea how to wire it as the wiring is different and I don't want to screw up the CC.
Also if you see in the first pic it also comes with that annoying beeper to tell the brain dead the key is in the ignition. I'm not installing that, my CC doesn't allow it anyway unless I change the whole ignition system.
I just need to know a basic question, when should it come on?
With the lights or when the door is open?
And how do I find the right wire to power it?
