Hey yall thanks for all the responses to my other questions on the CH thread! means alot

Im on here with my 2007 ES limited edition 2.4L 4g69 named GrannyBasher, with about 150k on the clock

I'm not too sure what I should do to it right now, if modding her will decrease her value from the $5,500 I paid. But all the advice and info on this forum is so awesome to have!

Any advice from all you old geezers is much appreciated :D

Welcome! I'm new here myself. If you are worried about "value" propably safe to leave it stock as preserved examples tend to sell easier/quicker.

Hey bro, seems I missed this post!

As windex mentioned, if you are worried about 'decreasing value' bolt on parts will be the way to go for more fun and a bit of a faster ride. Simple things like the VRX front strut brace can often be pinched from wreckers, front and rear swaybars will come with their own bushes and fit straight up out of the box, and even exhaust upgrades like extractors (your car has catted extractors so should be a good improvement), and long ram air intakes should that tickle your fancy. Just throw all of the old parts into a box that you can re-install back on the car later should you choose.

Quality coilovers, a good set of rubber and some nice rims all tick the box, and will make for a night and day difference without butchering the car to the point of no return.

I dont think that ill be keeping this car long term, so I was going to put on some King Springs, headers + exhaust, CAI, and if i can find it, some VRX front lip side skirts and rear bumper in grey. Maybe if i keep the car longer ill get some sway bars and new headlights~
I dont have much income so i want to keep it cheap n fun ;)
