As the title says, can I use a 4g94 block in a cc gsr?

Will the cc gsr head bolt to the later 4g94 block?

You'd be mixing generations of engines - the head and block flow in opposite directions, making it very very hard, if not near-on impossible to do correctly.

I thought as much. Just wanted confirmation. Thanks.

I've seen CE style 4G93 blocks run CC style 4G92 MIVEC heads.

Not sure if the block itself would fit though, perhaps gearbox bolt pattern is different?

Since it is very much on topic and I cbf searching right now, can someone confirm if the CE g93 head bolts onto a g94 block?

They are the same but I heard the 4G93 has a better camshaft.

Did you find a 4G94 block?

i think they are all pretty much interchangeable.
Jason (Jayz-1) has done CC DOCH on CE 4G93 reversed flow.
also CC MIVEC on CE 4G93 reversed flow.

i think the 93 and 94 gaskets are the same, oil, water, etc.

I guess the other question I have is about the accessories. Is the power steering

Did Jason have a thread anywhere for these?

This car I believe must have the CC style 4G92 MIVEC head on as the intake is at the front and exhaust where the firewall is:

Not sure how it was done but I believe it is covered in the build thread:
