Hey all,

I'm new here on the site and am seeking some views and opinions on which you would choose.

Aim is to use a 4g94 in a 4 Door from CJ or CH Series, and then to Bodykit and Badge it out to look like an Evo.
Problem I have is which Evo to choose to replicate the externals?
I was thinking 4 and 7 were pretty neat and my favourite from the Evo range.

Off memory the CE1 and CE2 are the above CJ & CH series cut down into the Coupe, soo I'd imagine there to be bodywork compatibility with main things like; Evo Bodykits, Seats, Interior Console etc?

Can anyone shed some light on which Series are the same body shape between the 4 door and 2 door &
which Series are the same body shape between the 4 door and Evo series?
Unable to find the height/dimension specs :disappointed:

For those that are curious, I'm aiming to get to about 250nm-300nm of Torque and nearly doubling the Horsepower and leave it FWD.
Obviously with the nature of what I'll be doing, I'll be switching up to vented disks, sway strength and small rear wing or lip tilt depending on balance. Would actually be curious to see later on if I would need a low profile front spliter. Wheels I have - Alloy 16. Budget is $15k so should be alright. I'm wanting to do this because I loved the 90's Hot Hatch Era, WRC and Group A when I was younger and loved the battle period the most when it was between Mitsubishi and Subaru. This mixed with a couple things is why I'm aiming for this goal. Plus, also a laugh.

cheerio!

The easiest way to go, will be to use a CE sedan with a factory 4g93. The CE shape requires the least amount of work to bring over evo parts. with the factory g93, a g94 will be an easy swap. If you wanted a 2 door or hatch, all CE’s are very similar and parts are interchangeable. This is the evo 4-6 shape shared with the CE shapes also very s

The CH/CG Have a totally different front and rear and that is not easily transplanted.

My recommendation for this project will be to buy a CE SEDAN 1.8L. Also purchase a donor CH VRX with a 4g94 (2004 only). This will give you a complete 4g94 with loom and ecu. Also vrx has 5stud and 276mm front brakes and rear brakes that are transferable. I would also advise for a turbo conversion and forged internals on a 94. That way you can run 15-20psi safely, acheive your power and torque goals. The rest is very nearly all bolt on as far as body kit goes. Sedan boots and evo boots are the same, so no need to drill for the wing. Just swap the whole boot.

Easiest evo to replicate externally is an evo 4. If you found a series ce vrx sedan, all you would need would be an evo 4 front bumper, headlights, bonnet and boot with wing. then body wise it would be almost identical
