Huh interesting, they just don’t seem at all that common or come up on the market. I’ve seen some of the split grill models in said white but not any of the single grill piece models. The white wagons are everywhere but I’m yet to see a white vrx sedan of the final years of the ch models.Yes, came in white, but colour in 2004 only W37 called solid white, it was a basic solid white (non metallic) and came from the factory coated with clear topcoat, after 2004 all the ch Lancers also had code w37 but name was changed to Innsbruck white (theory is they dropped the clear coat on the white) last of CH Lancers plated in 2008 also came in the white w37, next model Lancers carried on with the same Innsbruck white w37
Yeah aye do post up any if you do find them, I look everywhere even the auction sites whether wrecked or immaculate and and despite that not once have I seen a white 06-07 vrx sedan. A while back a dark grey 07 vrx sedan was up on car sales for $9000 with 170000ks in pretty good condition, seeing that I could only imagine what the price tag would be for a white one in good conditionI know what you mean, a lot of the white wagons were bought as fleet cars or for business, rest were private.
The split grille was discontinued in I think may 05 after introduction of the 2.4lt, at which time grilles changed along with minor bumper changes.
The latest white vrx I’ve seen in person was a 2006 model, I know they were winding them down in 07 pending the arrival of the next gen in 2008, but they were still available on the sales Dealer sheets, red book shows them up to 07,08.
The price of a vrx wagon in 04 was aprox $5000k more than es, and in 07-08 this went up to almost a crazy $10k, for minor trim suspension upgrades, so as new model was arriving maybe nobody wanted to pay top dollar in 07 and later for vrx, hence not many sold.
Mitsubishi Australia don’t keep sales figures for different models which could be easily accessed.
When the next 07 one comes up sale I’ll post a pic hopefully ??
