Hi All,
I have been offered a set of 18inch Outlander rims with tyres for a great price...... I know the rims will fit but will the tyres they come with fit on a 2015 model...... 235/55....... thank you in advance

Centre bore same, pcd 114.3mm x 5 correct, offset aprox 35p to 38p also correct, 2015 CJ’s lancer standard 18 inch tire I think is 215/40 x 18, these are 235/55 x18, so your looking at aprox height diff of 15mm (7.5mm t&b) I’d say you would be ok as long as standard car height is correct, mind you these are aprox, always best to test fit if possible.

Thank you, yes car is standard height

If you do have a problem more likely turning under braking/bumps in road front only, rear tire should be fine in theory.

Oh yeah I nearly forgot, if you use these rims with that tire size you speedo will be out, it will read too slow by at least 12%, so say your doing 110 you really will be doing 98 kph, you not likely to get ticket but won’t be popular on the motorway !

Diameter is way off

CJ is typically 215/40/18 = 630mm diameter

Outlander 235/55/18 = 716mm diameter.

Difference being 86mm or 43mm thicker sidewall.
