4G15 - auto/manual engine differences?

Hi all

Have the option to buy a ‘very’ low km 4G15 for next to nothing, which I’m keen to do for spares if nothing else. But it’s been lifted from an auto.

Just curious if there are any differences between the man/auto engines? Gearbox mount patterns, output shafts etc? Anything at all?

Would my 5speed/clutch bolt right up to it?

Cheers

Same engine from top to bottom, but from the fly/bellhousing towards the gearbox is different.
Straight forward to bolt up the 5spd +clutch+fly+bellhousing (pretty much just swap the engine boxes), but do note that you need to swap/change the ECU/TCU harnesses, or alternatively just bypass the parking switch thing (i forget it names right now)

Roger that - so no issues as long as I have a ‘complete’ 5speed to bolt on it sounds like? I was concerned there may be differences on the block itself.

For clarity - my car is already manual, I was just keen to make sure an engine from an auto car was compatible with my gearbox….
