2017 Cf Lancer 2000kms...head unit won’t turn on, rear cam doesn’t display, fuse not blown. Back to dealer under warranty. My question is does anyone know who manufactures the standard fit head units with touch screen?
The original one didn’t last long......

The brochure only says "Lancer’s wide 6.1” full colour display touch screen audio lets you immerse yourself in acoustics with Digital Radio (DAB), AM/FM radio, single CD player, iPod compatibility, USB inputs and Bluetooth® connectivity. Both audio and phone can be easily activated by voice or steering wheel controls."

Judging by that i would assume it's in-house as they usually state if it's a well-known brand like Rockford Fosgate etc. but it could also be exactly that, Rockford Fosgate, as they do a lot of OEM Mitsubishi sound systems.

Also found out that Opal made some of the 07-13 CJ headunit

Mitsubishi I presume,as far as I know basic concept of engine is shared but final refinements handled by each manufacturer to suite their own needs.

All fixed, connection behind the unit in the dash, spring clip come undone....now to update the speakers...plenty to read up on.
