Turbo sizing

Hey all, I’m still learning about turbo sizing, however I’ve gotten this turbo for absolutely nothing and I’m wondering if it’d be a good fit for my little 4g93, (how well it’d run etc) it’s a ihi rhf55v, any info or advice would be appreciated:)

my bet is no, not right.

the numbers indicate its off a 24volt 5.2L diesel engine.

the volumetric flow between 5.2L diesel and a asthmatic 1.5/1.8L petrol is night and day. heck the little 4G might need get it to spin till about 4500rpm

does it have the electric wastegate actuator?

Angle α (Compressor Housing): 200°
Angle ß (Turbine Housing): 35°
Actuator: Electronic, 24V
Bearing Housing: (1450055460)
CHRA: VAX55004 (VAX55007)
Compressor Wheel: (Ind. 48.7 mm, Exd. 65 mm, 6+6 Blades, Titanium Billet)
Repair Kit: (Major, RHF55)(14050055753)
Turbine Housing A/R: VNT
Turbine Wheel: (Ind. 56.3 mm, Exd. 55.9 mm, 11 Blades)

NOTE: This turbocharger is for 24 volt trucks, mainly used outside of USA. For 12 volt trucks, use VIFH.

That’s about what I thought, I only ask because it seems like a relatively small turbski. I’m not 100% about the wastegate but judging by the plugs on it I’d assume so

48mm compressor inducer not that big. Not practicable unless mad scientist but variable vane on petrol engine has capacity to spool like a mofo, and would want a bigger size than normal to compensate

IMO, you'll be 1000x better off getting a petrol turbo that correctly matches the engine size and volumetric flow of the 4G.

Trying to work out the turbo's mounting (custom manifold and dump pipe?), lubrication (can it run non-kerosene/oil?), wastegate (VTA/plumbed back in), plus boost control like Paulie said, its a hell of a lot of extra effort.

Doable yes, but so is long-mounting and RWD'ing a CE
