Post your 1/4 Mile Drag times

On Sunday, @rad000 and I hit up the Heathcote drags. It's about 2hours drive north of the city, and is basically a few sheds setup in the middle of bumfluff nowhere. Good thing about it being fairly remote, is theres either the hardcore out testing (Saw a yellow Hellcat Chev rock up in its own enclosed semi, but didnt run), or its the locals testing out their lastest and greatest mods (for these guys, that was a pod filter and no running with no bonnet).

We got 19 runs in from 11am to 3pm, and I broke my pb's a few times. It was a good day, temps peaked to about 23c or 24c, but it felt much hotter. I only ran once or twice slower than 15.9xx, and most of my runs were in the 15.7xx-15.8xx range, so im getting pretty consistent.

Best run:
LANCER: 2003 CE3 Mirage
ENGINE: 4g93 SOHC
MODS: Regrind cam, DIY fkd tune, 565cc injectors, DIY porting, no exhaust
RIMS/TYRES: (F)16x8+33, (R)16x7+33 with Re003's all around.
POWER: about 4.
RT: 1.122
60ft
: 2.386
1000ft: 13.080
ET: 15.684 (my second best run was a 15.699)
MPH: 86.57

Timeslip to come once i get home

Nice times donki.

Thanks man! I went with only one goal, to better my previous PB which was like 15.99x or something like that, the fact the entire day i ran better than that left me over the moon. I likely won't be heading to the drags any time soon, I felt the car could have maybe, maybe pushed to a low 15.6xx or high 15.59x, but i was spinning too much on take off, regardless of how low RPM i took off at. I couldnt properly compensate and ride the HD clutch and take off without bogging down. Plus, 20 runs at full pelt leaves me feeling the car needs a little TLC, but i've also got to get this turbo hooked up and running mint before i really want to thrash it again.

it'd be interesting to see car mass along with these numbers. from times vs power, i'm assuming rigby's 380 weighs a good bit more than ARC's rage, but it'd be nifty to have actual numbers to compare

Coincidentally I did weigh my car at the track, I'll add it to my post.

1650ish kgs. 600kg weight disadvantage lol

Those times in the 11s and 12s are something to be proud of and then some. When compared to the Ford Falcon GT HO phase 3 .
Best performance 4 door car in the world in its day. Weighing in at 1524kg, 0-100kph 6.9sec, 1/4 mile - 14.2sec: and that's in standard trim!!
Bathurst win 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7th. Now selling at around half a million $ if you can find one.

The MPH is up there, just gotta get that launch down and I think you could pull a 12.99 easily

maybe even a 12.7 if i get a good launch. keep in mind i dont have an lsd so getting a 12 without it is a good accomplishment i think

Your quick af MPH and "slow" 1/4 means your picking up a tonne of speed in the last section of the track (how good's a turbo haha). When NA i did 2.38 60ft and 15.68@86mph, turbo was 2.247 and 13.35@108mph but i was still on launch control for part of the 60ft when boosted. If you nail that launch, and you'll smash into the 12s easy.
